I have final put up photographes of my paintings from the " B I G " Show. The show was a huge success! Justin Runfola and I both sold paintings. There was also a huge turn out. All my paintings were painted on site and range from 4x4 to 4x6 feet. There is one more painting that I have not included in this post because I it was sold and I have to find my image of it and sorry for the glares. Thanks everyone for coming out, you made my semester!....enjoy!

Fake Food

This image is about the abundance of fake or processed foods that appear not only in international markets but in American grocery stores as well. to be up to standards and passed by the F.D.A. Some of the products have to have a certain percentage of protein and other aspects, so to cut costs, companies around the world substitute certain fake minerals and vitamins in raw foods. This also translates into wild and pen-raised fish to cut cost. This is known as "species adulteration".If the label says its wild, there is a fifty-fifty chance that its not.

The image is not final, any crits on this piece or on any others would be appreciated. enjoy

Thesis Begins

For my thesis, i am completing one illustration a week, at the minimum.

My whole concentration is concept development (no, not space marines standing in nothingness), and process. What good are you as an artist if you think like everyone else? What sets you apart? So thats what is driving me this semester. I want this images completed relatively fast and to the point.

My focus is to condense the first couple days of the Ilustration Academy into one day. Then do that three times a week with three different editorial ideas, or what suits me. Then on the weekend I will complete the best image out of the three. Pretty simple but the content is free reign. I hope to gain a vast knowledge of current events and problem solving skills. enjoy.
