Much to my surprise, a painting of mine ended up in the student exhibition at the society of Illustrators in New york! I recieved a call a couple of days ago from Don Brandes at Ringling telling me that I was accepted, and to ask if I still had the piece. I wish I could go to the show, I now that it will be a blast.
It turns out I won the $1000 John Klammer Award, great news
